Research-Based Art Residency & Exhibition Programs EdB Contemporary is situated on the Fondamenta Zattere in Venice and is an active collaborator of Women without Borders curating a dialog between artists and humanitarian programs.
After two decades in Asia, Elisabeth de Brabant Contemporary (EdB Contemporary) unveiled its newest space in early 2024 within the historic Galleria dei Gondolieri, set in a palazzo on Venice’s scenic Zattere in Dorsoduro.
Rooted in Elisabeth de Brabant’s extensive curatorial experience across museum and private collections, the newly restored space offers an expansive, cross-cultural platform for artists whose work resonates with both aesthetic precision and humanitarian awareness. EdB Contemporary champions artistic practices across all media, including commissioned live works—selected for their emotional depth, ethical engagement, and capacity to reflect the world with clarity and compassion.
Through the partnership with the international non-profit organisation Women Without Borders, as well as a sustained engagement with the local community in Venice, EdB cultivates meaningful dialogue between contemporary creation and social responsibility.
