Fragrance designer Daphné Perryman-Holt
The artist Léa Dumayet invited olfactory designer Daphné Perryman-Holt to develop an immersive installation within her exhibition CILIA. The olfactory layer developed in situ brings the public through the elements fundamental to the making of glass. Propelling the audience through the space, volatile molecules extend the work beyond what can be seen. Glass, metal, light, space, scent, and void form a permeable structure, where intention is carried, tested, and amplified through each material.

Daphné Perryman-Holt is a Paris-based olfactory designer whose practice considers scent as a living, multisensory language.
Engaged in fragrance development for cosmetic brands and perfume houses, she moves between industrial research and artistic collaboration, cultivating an approach that connects creative intuition with emotional intelligence.

She holds a Master’s degree in Creation and Management for the Perfume Industry and has worked within international composition houses including DSM-Firmenich and Azur Fragrances, while collaborating with artists and perfumers on projects that explore scent as a medium of perception and expression.

Daphne’s recent collaborations include work with artist Em de Korsak on the Ganymede project, where series of scent are developed as a tool to render perceptible speculative planetary environments, informed by scientific research and artistic imagination.
